There is a saying that came to mind today. The pastor of a church that Mike and I went to many years ago used to say it all the time. I think it bears repeating!
Sin will take you places you don't want to go,
Keep you longer than you want to stay,
And cost you more than you want to pay!

It bears repeating, because we've all come from places of great sin, yet now, in Christ, we are dead to it. Alive in Him! Our new nature is His nature. No more sin, no more shame, no more guilt.
Living in victory over sin, rather than fear of it, is a joyful place indeed.
