About Me

I have been married for almost 17 years.  Mike and I have chosen for me to stay at home to train up our children for the Lord and home educate them.  We have four children - 3 boys and one girl.

Mike and I lived in the Twin Cities for the first 8 years of marriage.  Then we moved out to the country and started an organic farm.  Currently our farm consists of sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, cats, and a dog.  We also have many gardens and an orchard.  For the past two years we have held a Farmer's Market here at our farm.  We give tours and sell the food we grow.  For more information on the farm, visit   http://housmanfarms.blogspot.com/

For the past 12 years or so I have been very interested in health and nutrition.  We have a large herb garden on the farm and I enjoy using them to keep my family healthy.  In 2010 I taught a class here at my home on cooking with herbs along with Emily (my daughter) and my sister.  We plan to expand the classes we offer here at the farm in the future.

My youngest son, Jonathan, makes and sells beautiful cedar butter knives.  Check out his Etsy sight at:

And my daughter, Emily, breeds Dwarf White Hotot bunnies.  Check out her blog at:
