Man and dinosaurs together as God's Word teaches |

Someone asked me what my favorite part of the museum was. I have to say, I was so impressed with everything! It was very well done! But there was one thing that really stuck out in my mind, one thing that impressed me the most, and that was the fact that they did not water down the truth! They were very bold and I was so moved, so thankful that they were willing to put their neck on the line to fearlessly proclaim God's Word. If you love God's Word, you will love the Creation Museum! :)
We all really enjoyed the walk through history.

Here you see the speaker above Mike. As you walk through, you hear the scriptures that describe what you are seeing. |
Behind Ben's head you can see Adam and Eve in a pool of water with water falls all around...beautiful!. The serpent is in the tree and will soon deceive Eve. |
Sin has entered the world..... |
...and so has death, heartache, pain, and misery! |

One room that almost moved me to tears, was the room that showed the destruction of the church due to the rise in evolutionary teaching.
First you see into the window of a house where two brothers are hanging out. One is doing drugs and looking at pornography on his computer. His younger brother is playing a video game where he is trying to kill elderly people. In the next window, their sister is calling her friend to tell her that her pregnancy test is positive and she is planning to abort her baby. Then you see two women, their mom and a friend, talking in the next window. Actually, they are gossiping about other people in the church.
As you walk a little further you see their church. Looking into the windows, you see them all dressed up and looking pretty in their pew, listening to the sermon. The pastor is preaching against God's word, teaching that creation didn't really happen the way the Bible says it did. The foundation of the church is crumbling because of the lies of evolution.
On a more cheerful note, there were some great movies that we watched. We all had a good laugh watching the "Men in White" movie! Just in case you end up going there some day, I won't tell you anything about that movie because I don't want to spoil it for you. :) The planetarium was also very well done and we all really enjoyed that. We also attended lectures and had some great class time learning how to tell the difference between a human skull and a monkey skull and spent some time learning how to making sculptures.
Look out, Emily! |
